Serb wrote: June 3rd, 2022, 3:53 pm In fairness, there are very few success stories of players leaving Leinster and having a great career. We have gotten it right almost always, Beirne is probably the only player I would have taken back given the chance. It’s a good record.
What worked well before was getting them back with more experience like Shane Jennings and Leo Cullen. If you can bring Jack Dunne back in in 2-3 years the time away won't have hurt him or the team.

They just went and did it again at the death. LAR came from 19-5 down in Lyon at h-t to beat Lyon in last 5 mins by 26-29.

The Top14 table finished like this:
1. Castres
2. Montpellier
3. Bordeaux
4. Toulouse (scored 80 pts v Biarritz)
5. La Rochelle
6. Racing 92 (beat Toulon 21-16)

And Toulon miss out on Europe because Lyon won the challenge cup.

Edit 2nd year in a row 🤣 Montpellier won it past year

So, if by some fluke we win the URC *nods to mockers* we get from best to worst
Lyon, Exeter
Clermont LI

As runner up we’d get the same?

Will be interesting to see where Exeter and clermont land next season with the clear outs and change in personal. We’ll have a leg up on Lyon and LI with SOB amd ngatai coming in. Hoping there’s no return of Jackson to the aviva.

And if we can’t overcome the bulls,

Racing/Bordeaux, Gloucester
Toulouse/ LAR, sale

One of these is not like the other
