That'll do, bonus point win handily enough with a lot for the coaches to use to push the players on

Gotta feel sorry for James Ryan, Doris gets credited with his runs and Beirne (who might not even be on the pitch at the time) gets credited with his lineout steals. We love you Big Cheese

Very nice win lads :happy clapper:

Fantastic result, good (and at times brilliant) performance and looks like no major injuries.

Minor quibble but I wish Dickson would be more vocal at ruck time. Countless times players went for a steal, moved to the ball and then hesitated. Dickson doesn't warm players or tell them they're okay to poach.

Think he had a good game otherwise. Ryan's steal was epic after about 65 mins.

One of the most enjoyable aspects of Ireland's and Leinster's recent winning streak is watching James Ryan in top form. Legend!!!!

Surely this performance puts any doubts behind about Ryan. He's back to his very best. Doris is the best player on the planet right now.

I think he was shook from that early tackle. Surprised he stayed on as long.

It was, but also got the feeling at times it was open season on our players in that half. How did he miss the neck roll on Bundee?

And he didn’t police the forward passes at all

Can't really say I saw him do anything wrong in the stadium, he was already airborne when Williams kicked and didn't deviate?

Murray was very good tbf, I needn't have worried. Casey looked pretty ordinary by contrast

Totally, that's why it's good to give them a thrashing despite that.
Liam Williams is some pr**k. Henderson tucked his arm in to avoid significant contact and Williams totally play acted.

So nobody picked a pack of bruiser & tried to copy SA.

Generally teams picked skillful backrows and tried to copy os. Not good enough yet.

Bealham's performance was a huge positive from us. Starting in a Six Nations game is a milestone in any player's career. Winning away in Wales in the Millenium Stadium and playing individually well is a great boon not just to the player himself but to the team. We have been very reliant on Tadhg Furlong as a starter. It is relieving to see that things don't break down when he isn't available.

No handling errors, no tackles missed, no turnovers conceded, no penalties conceded ... then six carries for decent metres and a couple of broken tackles, four passes, and thirteen tackles. Scrum was very solid, lineout was better than solid and maul was effective. Really good outing from him and a very positive outcome from a bit of a tricky situation.

No one is taking that 8 jersey from Doris for a few years. Even when he's not at his best he's still really good(vs France last year). Even when he gets injured I think he'll be straight back in when he's fit. Conan and Coombes are good players but he's just consistently good/great. Be interesting to see how he goes next week "against" Aldritt who's been the best 8 in the comp the last few years IMO.

6 changes in the starting 15 from last seasons team who beat Wales and I think and another 4-5 in the wider 23 and we didnt look any weaker. I think that's a few questions settled as far as the RWC pecking order barring a meltdown at SH & TH. Gonna go a bit Farelly here and say if he has any lingering doubts about Bealham he should just start him against France and play Furlong off the bench who hasn't played in ages.
Ruddock's tackle stats consistently too low for me to be taken seriously as a Six Nations blindside..... Ruddock's defensive stats don't stack up. - All Blacks Nil, Jan 15th, 2014
England A 8 - 14 Ireland A, 25th Jan 2014

Yeah massive game for him. Fiar dues to Farrell for not panicking and going for the "safe" option in a TH thats a specialist scrummager.
