Re: Ireland Autumn Internationals 2022
We are playing without a 10. No direction at all when we have the ball.
It was cruel to put Crowley in for this match. He has been totally anonymous.

Possibly the worst 36 mins of rugby I’ve seen. Very sloppy, lots of very soft ‘high’ hits. Only positives have been our defence and Doris has been excellent.

We’re not being helped by JGP not having his best game but we’ve changed our style too much to take pressure off Crowley. He looks pretty comfortable out there to me, if we trust him I bet we’ll improve a lot.
We look surprisingly lethargic in general though. McCloskey has been fine but I think Bundee would add a lot of energy.

What was with the ref warning both teams about high tackles because of the amount by Australia

Our clearance kicks have been very short. Haven’t managed to get out of 22 with a lot of them. Is there a gale force wind in Dublin that I’m not aware of?

OK fell well for us. Blew them for a yellow after warning

Re: Ireland Autumn Internationals 2022
That was a very poor first half with the ball by Ireland - without it, excellent
I have Bumbleflex
Re: Ireland Autumn Internationals 2022
I was disappointed that we didn't choose a scrum.
Force them to unconstested and 13 men with a hooker in the bin and the other failing a HIA.

Well, at least we survived that half. Feels like delaying the inevitable though. I agree that we need to trust Crowley more on the rare occasions we have the ball. Either that or take him off

I'd be surprised if after the Italy debacle, all teams didn't ensure at least one sub prop in each squad could do a job at hooker for a few scrums. If we were in that situation we would surely put Cian Healy in?

I cannot believe we're not using Jimmy for the line kicks on the right touchline, absolutely bewildering.

JCB having a shocker. Too many poor options

Time to get Byrne on I think. Don’t think McCloskey has done himself any favours tonight either

I forgot Keenan was playing until he went for that catch, quietest game he’s had for Ireland I’d say. He cleared up the kick trough in the first half but not much else.
Re: Ireland Autumn Internationals 2022
Maybe it's me but this game is taking an age to be played. Constant stops in play... it's hard to watch at times.
