Really stepped on the accelerator in last 30, passes sticking and Prendergast pulling the strings. He some talent.

Paddy McCarthy, Gleeson and Mangan look really good too.

Whatever about a scratchy performance from Ireland, Wales are 100 times better than the last few years.

Much better in the last 30 minutes after an error-strewn opening 50. Definitely need to work on defensive structure and decision making, they won’t have that kind of power advantage against other packs.
Look out Itchy, he's Irish

A brilliant win and 2nd half performance. Hugh Cooney will go under the radar but thought he had some nice touches and I liked the look of Fintan Gunne at 9. It was one of those nights for Anagu, but would like to see him keep his place for now. Plenty of mistakes from most players out there, which is expected at this level.

goes to show Munster bias in media.
Just cause ROG says a player is good don't mean he is,
Anagu position in defense was awful.
But according to commentators it just didn't fall right for him??

Can’t understand how he was starting ahead of McErlean. I was very impressed with Mcerlean when he came on.

Some exquisite tries from them - tries you wouldn't get tired of watching if there were ten replays of them in a row. Exceptional handling and adventure in terms of trying high-risk passes and then pulling them off. Really good game to watch.

There were probably better players then him in the final analysis but I thought Mangan had a smashing game. Looks to be very athletic for a 2nd row. Reminded me a bit of Ryan Baird.

Missed the entire 1st half.
So only saw the 2nd half when we were pretty much in complete control apart from some stunning Welsh magic here and there.
Sam Prendergast, looked really good.
How excited should I be?
You know I'm going to lose,
And gambling's for fools,
But that's the way I like it baby, I don't want to live FOREVER!

Common enough for a winger to look exposed, especially when new to the team and the system. I wouldn't be too hard on him. Plenty of full pro Leinster wingers have experienced the same thing, especially those being introduced to the setup.

This is the most nonsensical take of a young lad having a bad game. It's like you made the conclusion and worked backwards, like something you'd read in the Guardian.

Yes, some of the other teams have massive men in their packs, particularly in their front rows.

Italy:
Destiny Aminu [Prop] 1.85 m 122 kg [19st 2lbs]
Alex Artuso [Prop] 1.9 m 127 kg [20st]
Marco Gallorini [Prop] 1.9 m 133 kg [20st 13lbs]

France:
Zaccharie Affane [Prop] 1.91 m 126 kg [19st 11lbs]
Brent Liufau [Number 8] 1.96 m 119 kg [18st 10lbs]
Valentin Simutoga [Prop] 1.84 m 125 kg [19st 9lbs]

England:
C.Cunningham-South [Flanker] 1.93 m 120 kg [18st 12lbs]
Afolabi Fasogbon [Prop] 1.9 m 128 kg [20st 2lbs]
Jimmy Halliwell [Prop] 1.88 m 129 kg [20st 4lbs]
Tim Hoyt [Prop] 1.89 m 125 kg [19st 9lbs]

I watched Italy v France live and Italy certainly had the upper hand up front for 60 minutes. Should have won but couldn't score in last 25 minutes, despite having lots of possession. They'll take a couple of scalps when they get the confidence to win.

In Fairness to Ody, Anagu loomed lost out there. Seem way off this level

I agree, but the coaches picked him, not the media. Anyway, maybe he had an off day, let's give him a chance.

Worse still, he was clearly carrying an injury. Ridiculous stuff.
