ahh for all the rights or wrongs of the comment, they are kids, probably read social media (though maybe not here), and we should try to focus on the positives rather than highlight the negatives.

It did seem Scotland got around the winger very easily against England senior team.
Thought Hansen experienced a bit of that too.

Gunne has a huge boot and a good pass, considering that was his 1st start of the season, i'd say it was encouraging.

Paddy McCarthy is an elite talent.

Agree 100%. Everything about his game is fantastic.

Plays both sides too.

I don't want him to. He looks like he has the frame to carry TH kilo's and our need there is massive since Porter switched.

I'd say the opposite. The need for a LH behind Porter is much greater considering Healy's age and Kilcoyne not lighting it up either and no other players tearing up trees behind.

Boyle is coming through at loose and Milne is there.

McCarthy more needed at tighthead for me.

Either is a luxury to have. Hopefully once Boyle is back fit his progress will continue.

Think Boyle will get a senior cap before the RWC Mildy?

Worse still, he was clearly carrying an injury. Ridiculous stuff.
I do wonder if he was at a disadvantage as he's new into the system. I'm imagining that most of the rest were in varoius underage grades in prior years which gives them some contunity.
Or maybe reading too much into it.

Looks like Anagu was carrying an injury, or has he just been dropped? Hopefully he gets another chance anyway.

Stade Francais were training on the Trinity pitch yesterday.
I asked one of the coaches why they were over and he explained that they're playing an Irish Universities team in Cork on Friday.

Watch out for the French inside centre tomorrow, Emilien Gailleton. Saw him play over in SA for the French 20s last summer and thought he stood out. He was training with the French senior set up in their build up for the 6 nations but must’ve been dropped down to 20s. Serious talent and will pose a big threat to John Devine and Hugh Cooney

Irish U20 pack fronted by a Leinster front row absolutely beasting that French scrum.

Good to see.

Hard to judge this, given how young a squad France has named. Their front rowers do look massive though.
