Very disjointed performance. Bit like first Maori game.

Pack have been second best almost to a man (maybe besides Loughman).

Halfbacks not looking composed at all and NZ line speed is killing our attack.

The backrow in particular have been quiet (again like Maori game). Need more from Coombes & Timoney.

McKenzie a class act. NZ defence very well prepared and reading our midfield like a book.

The Gardai will have to organise a search for Coombes who has gone missing. Casey trying his heart out with no protection from his pack.

Lineout is awful

Not many coming out of that with much credit. The pack hasn’t provided much clean ball and when do try and play we’re not looking at the defence and getting hammered by the shooters. Defence was all over the place at times, Hume had a nightmare start but has improved.

We could do with just getting Coombes etc to make some hard carries close in before we move it. The space is there but we’re making it easy for NZ to shut us down in midfield first.

NZ dominating the breakdown. They seem to be flooding into it killing Irelands momentum. Heres hoping they'll run out of steam in the second half.

Not too many advancing their claim for the first team. Joe McCarthy started well before he went off. I think Jamie Osborne has been the pick of the bunch. Talented player, he’s made a few have breaks and had one lovely 50m clearance kick.

Some guys who have been 'bigged up' recently for Ireland full honors, have not shown well!

I think the better performances have come from Guys who were less vaunted.

Yep agreed.

Coombes, Casey, Hume not going well at all.

Coombes hard carrying style hasn't worked. I'd like to see Deegan have a go maybe attacking a few gaps instead.

Coombes battered backward from an attacking 5m scrum. Yikes.

Hume is usually a good defender but he’s had a shocker.
