Rugby Championship 2022

Post by riocard911 »

Faff de Clerk k.o.'s himself within the first minute of RSA vs NZ via a low flying tackle into Calum Clark's knee. Niemaber may yet regret the 6-2 split on the bench...

Boks dealing with the kiwis easy enough

What an appalling referee is Gardner, yet again. Players lying offside at breakdown; hands on ground by poacher; catcher been taken out in the air; each offense clear but ignored. Total "homer".

Certainly don't expect anything but 'Boks win.

NZ are an absolute mess. Their attack is awful.

(Not something I ever though I'd be typing.)

Schmidt should be give full leeway to have his way with that NZ ruck.

It's awful. Poor angles, no ball control when they're placing it and Smith is being served up awful stuff.

As bad as the NZ attack have been, for the most part Boks have matched it with their Marx off the back of every maul move.

Can’t believe I’m typing this, but based on a totally inadequate “data set” of 40 minutes of rugby, neither side is playing at a World No. 1 standard. Roll on autumn…

The worst NZ team I've seen in a long time. I think puts our win in a little bit of perspective.

SA no great shakes either mind, and on the positive side it shows how potent our attack can be when you look at how SA have played.

Drop goal from Pollard in front of the posts. 16-3. 58 mins. Nothing so far to indicate an NZ comeback.
