Just watched this now, the speed this team plays at is just incredible. It has everything really, both physically and mentally.

When Tector got MOTM I went through the team and was thinking there was a case for maybe 8 or 9 others as well. So many brilliant performances but given that picking out the best performers is a bit more important at underage level, I thought McGuire was the standout. He put in a huge shift yet still looked fresh as a daisy when running off near the end.

+1 but most TV Sports Directors were weaned on soccer where goalscorers get all the plaudits.

Maguire was standout in his position and this from a guy who wasn't picked for the game against Wales

Great pair of tries from Aitzol Arenzana King – really happy to see him make such an impact off the bench, selection hadn't really gone his way thus far in the tournament. Really good timing for Leinster to see a big, powerful wing steal the show in a big U20s game, given Adam Byrne's move to Connacht.

Hopefully we'll see him in the academy next year. And hopefully we'll have a proper 'A' grade competition next year as well.

Amen to this. This team strikes me as a special group I think the percentage of players that will go on to have serious professional careers is high.

Just want to give a shout out to Morrissey who I had my doubts about. He put in some serious shifts. If Leinster don't pick him up I hope some of the other provinces take a look at him.

he has been a specialist skills/kicking coach for years, for him to replace Leo or Lancaster, i'd want to see him be successful at a higher level with a broader brief than the head coach for the 20s.

Richie has done an outstanding job with the team. If Felipe is leaving post RWC23 [which is still a good bit away] I think the timing would be ideal to bring RM back into the Leinster fold.

We're in total agreement. I never suggested parachuting him straight in and showing the incumbents the door. Quite the opposite. My idea was for him to rejoin the staff with a view to "eventually" taking the top job, if and when it comes available.

I have a strong dislike for anointing coaches way out. At this stage a lot of Leinster fans have.

Let everyone get on with coaching and adapt to situations rather than serve time before you get the next promotion.
