You know I'm going to lose,
And gambling's for fools,
But that's the way I like it baby, I don't want to live FOREVER!

Ask one team to match shorts & Jersey colour and the other to wear Black shorts. Problem solved.

My base instinct is to say NOPE. Then after a sip of caramel cinnamon caramel macchiato I think that this is a good thing.cormac wrote: ↑October 6th, 2021, 12:07 pm ..to help the colour blind.

Sometimes I miss the old me, life was much simpler back then…

My instinctive reaction to this announcement is to wonder if they’d be as concerned about the issue if the statement had been:
“if you’re potentially limiting 8 per cent of your female audience, that’s a huge huge number of people who are suddenly switching off”

bit of a head scratcher there Xan. In this context men are 30 times more likely to be colour-blind than women. Pro-rata that would be potentially limiting 0.25%(approx) of the female audience suddenly switching off which is a lot less statistically significant.Xanthippe wrote: ↑October 6th, 2021, 10:33 pm My instinctive reaction to this announcement is to wonder if they’d be as concerned about the issue if the statement had been:

on the other hand, I would like my wife and daughters to sit and watch a match with me - but it bores them so they won't - so I'm all for initiatives to make the sport more appealing to the ladies.
and then the way the premise is phrased is odd - why would your colour-blind audience "suddenly" switch off - that makes no sense, surely they don't all of a sudden realise that they can't make sense of what's going on. They either persevere with the current state of affairs or they stop watching over time.

But 8% of the female audience is sweet fup all.Xanthippe wrote: ↑October 6th, 2021, 10:33 pm My instinctive reaction to this announcement is to wonder if they’d be as concerned about the issue if the statement had been:

Women, dont follow and support the game of Rugby in the numbers that Men do.
Rugby has to look after its base.
That's just logic.

Coaching departures in Wales as Gatland discards some old favourites & finds new faces.

The new faces won't have long to get 'down and dirty' with Warren and his style. But then many have argued before that Warren's coaching isn't deeply technical but mostly organisational and inspirational.
