Summary status report link above.

"Following discussions with FairPlay Ltd. and the IRFU’s external legal counsel, the IRFU was unequivocally advised that publication of the full report could be seen as a breach of confidentiality for those who participated in it. This view is understood by the players’ representatives who are satisfied the requests they made throughout discussions have been met. Consequently, today’s publication is focussed on the recommendations, as per the terms of reference agreed when this work was commissioned This decision is understood and accepted by Sport Ireland and Ministers Martin and Chambers."

So after all that fuss, such strong statements of lack of faith and damaging escalation the players now accept that the IRFU were correct and reasonable in their approach, and that there's no issue with their original plan.

Ah well, now to the recommendations.

I just hope the extra million quid doesn't come out of grass roots rugby. That would pay for about 30 CCRO's.

Looking at the youtube vids of the World Cup down under, there does not seem to much buy in from joe/josephine public. Pity
You know I'm going to lose,
And gambling's for fools,
But that's the way I like it baby, I don't want to live FOREVER!

I'd like to think it's partially down to mná na hÉireann not making the cut; as we all know, tis the Irish and their diaspora bring the crowds and the craic!

Brilliant match. Great to see the NZ public supporting the Black Ferns (at last). Hopefully, the other home nations can close the gap over next couple of seasons.
