The Seven Nations

Six Nations Rugby has today announced a long-term strategic partnership with CVC that will see an investment of up to £365 million for a 1/7th share.

Can someone explain to me how they are suddenly calling all the shots having only bought a 7th of the entire thing? On the other side of it, how do they make their money back if they dont gain control of the TV rights?
