Lowe's errors were not system based
I didn't suggest they were. I suggested the system provided too many opportunities for these errors to occur.

So predictions.
Scotland to win.
France to win
Ireland to win if-
I think England will target our Lineout because it's our perceived strength.
So has POC come up with alternative calls.
Conan gives another option.
Added to that we need to isolate Itoje as much as possible.
Play away from him.
JGP was dropped to the bench because he was nearly blocked down a few times, which is something Itoje is very good at.
Get the above right, get the ball to Stockdale and see what happens.

CJ's job - take Curry's arms away from ball at every breakdown;
Hendo's job - take Itoje's arms away from ball at every breakdown;
Tagdh's job - work M. Vunipola as hard as possible in every scrum;
Front-row - don't give up penalties;
Stockdale's jobs - chase hard and compete on every ball and make every tackle.

If those players can do their jobs we'll be in the contest. If not, it will be a long afternoon and Poite is TMO

Italy's tactics in the line out are stupid.

Scotland lost 6 out of 8 lineouts last week and Italy are not jumping against them. Surely jump just to put them under pressure.

I wonder how many people actually watch Italy games anymore?

That's a very good point. I'm very much against the idea of lets drop Italy and replace them with Georgia who will be much worse in my view.

But it's getting to the stage that after 15/20 minutes you know the result. As in will it be a 10 to 15pt victory for the other team or a 30 to 40pt victory. You might not turn it off but you definitely aren't glued to it.

I know cvc will stay pushing to drop Italy and replace with South Africa now that they are in the pro 16 (maybe keep Italy and expand it).

The plan with the pro 16 is that there will be less games and no games during the 6 nations. To improve the standard hopefully. So the sa teams will play their inter pros during the 6 nations and take Dec and Jan off as their summer hols. That leaves them time to play the currie Cup and rugby championship during July August.

If they were to leave the rugby championship/join 6 nations it would cause a lot more disruption. If they were to join the heineken Cup they would have to adopt to playing during the summer and moving the currie Cup altogether or not having pro 16 players in it. So it will bring quite the serious of challenges. Not to mention the change to the nature of the summer / Autumn tours.

Hearing Sexton has done his hammer and Burns starting.
If true, change in prediction. England to win.
This is what happens to coaches when they persist in being stubborn.

Ta just saw that. Ireland to win.
Eddie, though, has pulled a stroke by moving Daly back to FB.

Apparently James Ryan was leading the defensive lineout with Henderson calling our own ball.

Tadhg Furlong looks genuinely disappointed vunipola’s indiscretions at scrum are denying him a contest.

Offloading forwards, wide kick, take by Keenan, pass from Aki, hard carries. Fair play.
