Not the first time she's been missing in action during a recent match.

I played a match many years ago in which we conceded a penalty for a player jumping out a tackle.

Has that law changed?

I believe he was ‘diving’ for the line. Which is ok. Apparently.

No, it is not nor has it ever been a law. There is a law against Dangerous play, and the ref may have thought that the execution of the jump was reckless as to the safety of another player, but jumping out of or hurdling a tackle is not against the laws

My understanding was that you can skip out of a tackle to the side but not try to jump over a tackler you're running straight at due to the danger of kneeing them in the head.

She can only do the easy stuff, if Leinster are playing then if there's any doubt and even if there isn't then.....

Lawes with both hands on the ground turns over the Italian catcher of the ball. FFS why bother having referees!

Anyone got an opinion on Lawes turnover? Seemed to me he went past the ball and raked back.

Doddie Weir doing the match introduction on BBC. Would bring a tear to a glass eye.

A class act and pure class from the BBC.

The offside line at the ruck needs to be refereed better to get rugby back anywhere near its entertaining best.

Looking at that defensive set from Wales where Scotland ultimately had a try ruled out for crossing, pretty much every phase there’s someone in front of the back foot. Quite often it’s the whole team

For the rest of the 6 Nations Wales are just going to leave props sitting in rucks all match. They will get the Grand Slam because of red cards.

Thought that one for Fagerson was harsh, he slowed down going into contact. Almost impossible now to clear out a jackler who has their head down..

Great game of rugby. Gethin Jenkins has done arn incredible job with Welsh defence. This household cannot understand the Scottish reluctance to tak their points wheen on offer. 20-3 and the game was probably theirs. But those "phantom" tackles on Hogg and Van de Merwe in the last 5 minds! Wow.

And, unlike the first game, Mathew Carling (?) was excellent

Only partially true.
The one team you don't want to give a chance to is Wales.
They are never beaten and if they feel lucky then even Dirty Harry can look out.
They are also a confidence team, England and France are now going to have much tougher games against them as a result of today's game in particular.
I'd give them an even chance of winning the Championship now, points difference deciding it.

Sounds like Sexton and Murray injuries are worse than we've been led to believe or there is going to be a late cry off tomorrow.
