Conway didn't get many chances on Saturday but he's been our most consistently good back 3 player in recent times. He's also less of a worry under a high ball than others.

Yeah, he’s had decent form but he also rarely does anything that blows me away.
I’d take a bit of error count in developing players if they can do something special and they have the right attitude. But that’s based on long term rather than short term.

Absolutely. But this weekend there's a pot to be won shag development.
We don't have such a thing as a world class back 3 player right now so, as you say, taking some pain in gambling to get there is worth it starting next week.
