You can players putting the hits in, but apart from the few line breaks it feels like the team is very static.

Any more calls for Stander and O’Mahoney to be dropped?

Yep, O'Mahoney shouldn't be in the squad. Hes a pro12 player at best.

Don't think anyone was calling for Stander to be dropped

We got away with that - Scots physicality was impressive. We were ponderous in attack - slow ruck ball - not helped by Murray off form and continuing with
bullshit box kicks. New broom and all that but on todays evidence not much has changed.

Fair play to CJ - he's been maligned but stood up today.

Any news on Ringer.

Because it means he has had to drop Murray presumably?

O'Mahony had a one turnover. Obviously Munster fans were going to wet themselves.

You're mistaking CJ with POM.
Most people were happy with CJ starting at 6.
Next week BR to start should be CJ, VDF and Deegan with Ruddock on the bench.
But relax POM will start and Murray might not even make the 23.

I heard a couple of nutters in the media suggesting Stander be dropped but it was crazy talk that madw no sense.

O'Mahony did nothinrg to suggest he was the right bench option there. If he had won the lineout steals that Henderson did the commentators would be boring us about it still.

VdF is fine, does his work, but you'd like a higher ceiling in an international.

Healy must be under pressure if Kilcoyne is fit. Deegan looking for selection now too. Murray had a disappointing day.

Not sure about Aki, did some stupid stuff.

Don't know if it came across on de tele but VDFs work rate was phenomenal he was involved in so many of the turnovers. If he wasn't on the ball he was proping up the guy who was. CJ deserved MOM for me.

What was said about Ringrose injury?

VDF was excellent I thought. Seriously involved in all the big defensive moments.

I thought he was poor. Slipped off a lot of tackles and some of the tackle she made weren't great. The 2 tunrovers don't make up for it IMO.
Ruddock's tackle stats consistently too low for me to be taken seriously as a Six Nations blindside..... Ruddock's defensive stats don't stack up. - All Blacks Nil, Jan 15th, 2014
England A 8 - 14 Ireland A, 25th Jan 2014
Ruddock(c) 19/2 Tackles

This didn't go to plan. Nice try conflating POM with Stander.

Nah. Quinne must have had POM close to MOTM. He of course, is from Munster.
Ireland were awful and it seems that not much has changed since the RWC.
Kick the ball to the opponents and defend.
Win peno. Yay!
Kick the ball to the opponents and defend.
Not very hopeful for the rest of this tournament.
Was hoping that we (Leinster) would avoid too many injuries but it was a bad day on that front too.
You know I'm going to lose,
And gambling's for fools,
But that's the way I like it baby, I don't want to live FOREVER!

Addison should be in the squad if fit, think McCluskey offers more than Aki too

Ireland’s rugby was such a boring style of rugby today, nearly fell asleep at the game
