6 Nations 2020
It's started already.
Fabien Galthie has been appointed as the new French coach post RWC 2019.
His TV side kick Raphael Ibanez (a great hooker and captain, in his time) will be involved too.
Galthie was a world class scrum half in his day.
He comes across as having a lack of humour whereas Ibanez comes across as being quite jovial.
Methinks that next year's 6Ns will be a lot harder to win for Messrs Farrell and Farrell.

Mirror, Mirror on the Wall who's the greatest player of them all? It is Drico your majesty.
Re: 6 Nations 2020
5th from bottom of the Top14 with Toulon. I think it'll be a case of plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose for France.
Re: 6 Nations 2020
Galthie is gone from Toulon for some time now, probably since late 2016/early 2017. He was replaced by Mike Ford who in turn was replaced by Richard Cockerill for the remainder of the season. Cockerill got them to the Top14 final where they lost to Castres.
Re: 6 Nations 2020
Sean Edwards is leaving Wales. Great new.
He's been a major thorn in Irish sides over the years. Hopefully England or France don't pick him up.

England could depend on how long Mitchell is contracted for. Is it just the World Cup?dropkick wrote:Sean Edwards is leaving Wales. Great new.

Fabien Galtie is first out of the blocks in naming a 41-man Squad for 6 Nations. 19 uncapped players with a good dip into former U. 20 Squads who were successful at JWC. Very clearly now starting to build for home World Cup but could still put a very experienced team on the pitch for the 6N opener against England.
Galtie and his coaching ticket will be worth following.

They're hosting it, Id say they're willing to build patiently.Ruckedtobits wrote:https://www.bbc.com/sport/rugby-union/51037408

Re: 6 Nations 2020
No Ruddock..... Only one 'out & out' 7 in Van de Flier.....
Hooker spot up for grabs..
McCloskey unlucky (not sure if he is any better then Farrell, Henshaw or Aki even though he is in form) Ringrose obviously nailed on starter

No Ruddock, McKloskey, JCB, RK, Kleyn, Carty.
Well done DK, I thought this level was beyond him about 2 years ago.
