He won't be much cop from 5m out, what with his white line fever

Great to hear furlong is on track. Hoping hendo is too.

Not so great to hear Barnes is the ref. 4 wins from 13 with him as ref. Not saying that's the reason we lost but I hope Joe has a dossier outlining his refereeing style.

Barnes doesn't like his authority being challenged.
How you turn that into a +ve I'm not sure.

Ritchie Gray too
Yea but they've also called up just about every player possible- currently have a squad of 40.
Lots of players coming back from injury so there's now genuine competition and choices to be made in several positions.

Interesting read there about how Scotland went after England.

I like Denton as a player. I wouldn't say he's better than Conan mind you.

1-5 we're significantly better, including replacements. 9 and 10 I believe we're significantly better too. Really don't rate either of Laidlaw and Russell, albeit the latter can have his moments. Outside backs would worry me though...

No probable(leaked) team yet from Kinsella or Thornley yet. Rumour on boards that Sexton and Murray are out.

If that is not true you owe everyone here a an apology for scaring us like that

Though Marmion and Carberry could lead to some enjoyable helter skelter

Thought it was Sexton and Earls?

Interesting lack of Toonie Tombola for the Scotland team.

One more day of work then let the excitement begin :).

I’d say McGrath and Healy will be rotated but apart from that the team is pretty much how I’d expect it to be.

have Jack C and Fergus been given defensive work-ons I wonder; or is that Jordi and Larmour are picked for other reasons (that's of course assuming that is the actual team).

Murphy instead of Conan and Larmour as 23 are interesting. Not impressed by the Scottish front 5 but with Barnes as ref...
