Sensational defence from us bit we're kicking too much ball away. Best absolutely outstanding so far. Marler boring in every scrum.

Stop kicking it away and stop dropping it and we might win this.

Get Stander to drop the brainfart penalties in the second half and we'll be fine.

Stander had a great last outing but is getting schooled by Robshaw and Haskell and has given away a couple of pennos. But he has some ballast at least.

Great break from Henshaw and then we butcher the chance.

Cole heads south at a rate of knots and somehow gets the penalty. Nonsense.

32 points scored in 3 games and in the RTE studio they're singing Ireland's praises. What kind of standards do they have?

Would have been interesting to see the endgame if Poite had asked "Any reason not to award the try" for VDF's effort.

England worth the win in any case.

Haskell shouldve seen red for second yellow killing it on the line, Brown was reckless beyond belief and should be cited but wont

Joe deserves flak for the passive/narrow defensive line especially when we committed so many to rucks to no reward

team deserves flak for handling, passing, and lineout

Mike Brown is such a scrote. I've never wanted a player to spontaneously combust before, until now

Replace the latter bit with Munster and you won't be seeing a smile on a Connacht fan's face.

Agree completely. Haskell was borderline red first time round but I think the yellow was correct. Brown was a red in my book. Yes it was accidental but if you kick blindly in the region of someone's head then that's simply not cricket.

Did Watson drop the ball when scoring one handed?
...a beautiful weighted pass...it is 3 on 2...it is 3 on 1...Hickie!...Magnificent!

Pleased to have seen the intent to throw it around a bit but the handling errors were really galling. We invited pressure onto ourselves and took it off England. I think the toll that defensive effort took was shown in the second half

I agree with the criticism of the narrow defence though. The tackling was as brave as we've any right to expect but our system looks out of date now. We really need a defensive coach

Re: Brown, yes it may not have been deliberate (although I really wouldn't rule it out from him) but it was certainly very reckless, and recklessness has to be sanctioned. People get red cards for reckless (and accidental) tackles that do less damage. Murray left the field with a bloodied eye due to Brown.

Exactly, if you accidentally drop someone on their head in the act of an otherwise legitimate tackle, it's a red card. If you're going for the ball with your boot around someone's head, accidentally catch their head/face, cut open their cheekbone and force them off, then it's a red card and a ban. End of story.
