He's a terrible pundit. Big Bernard is the only heavy-set bald ex-Ireland hooker we need doing analysis!

He's disturbed that Ringrose isn't in the squad. FFS

Won't be long before he'll be championing Axel Foley to take over from Schmidt. :D
Woody was on the interview panel that appointed Schmidt

If he is critical of Schmdit he has reason to be.

He and his fellow selectors had little option but to appoint Joe.
Joe made them an offer they couldn't refuse.
They'd have looked like total idiots had they not appointed Joe.
He hadn't a clue as a captain and his place on that interview panel was a joke.
An insult to Joe Schmidt and his pedigree as a top coach.
Woodie knew/knows nothing about coaching so what on earth was he going to bring to the party.

I think that we are just about good enough to beat Wales at home at this time.

But how is that possible with Madigan on the bench?

I agree entirely. We would be better set up with Johnny at full back and Ian at outhalf.

They had Les Kiss as an option.

What offer did Joe make that they could not refuse?
I don't get the relevance of your comment about his captaincy, but he was the first world player of the year and he always put his body on the line when playing for Ireland's.
Having actually played rugby,he might know a bit more than say Philip Brown about coaching and coaches.

As for being a Legend - how many World Players of the Year do Ireland actually have?

Ansxombw out Williams in.
Ruddock's tackle stats consistently too low for me to be taken seriously as a Six Nations blindside..... Ruddock's defensive stats don't stack up. - All Blacks Nil, Jan 15th, 2014

If we played opponents anthems any slower they'd be backwards.

Farces being farcical already. How can you give a scrum penalty to the side with the loose head prop popping up like a gopher?

Very surprised not to get a yellow card there.

Tipuric was waiting for Stander

Another Farcical decision, if you choose to jump in the tackle you've put yourself at risk. Earls did nothing wrong.

You'd have to think Gatty was playing silly buggers with Anscombe expecting us to prepare for kicky kicky attack.

Wales drop the scrum 5m from their line, no penalty. Wales drop it 5m from ours, penalty to them. Farces at it again.
