Final weekend

Post by GRHAME52 »

Glad to say Newcastle stewards and security are working Friday and Saturday also lots of volunteers around city and ground, one of the busiest roads to the ground is closed blackett street, also strawberry place. Most places have a relaxed attitude regards rugby tops. There is plenty of pubs less then 20 minutes from ground. The gate complex is good if you have kids it's 10 minutes from ground. The fan zone at the quayside has a fireworks display around 10ish, this is about a 15 minutes stroll. Newcastle council has events on at the monument, blackett street, near the Baltic art gallery and the quayside, your spoilt for choices and most places around the city are reasonable price wise, 4 pints for less then a tenna if you still it lucky

From Quayside (EPCR Fan Zone) to the Stadium
You're warm welcomed my friends
The same clermont fan mentioned there are nota lot of clermont fans travelling, which is a shame. Should be good craic all the same and a good game.

There may not have had many present but did they make some noise. A great final and superb support.
