Leinster Jerseys

Post by apple sourz »

In an effort to ensure everyone is geared up for Toulouse, I have been talking with Gerry from Sportsmith in Cathedral Street (opp. the tax office) just off O' Connell Street. He has agreed to sell his remaining stock of the current Leinster jerseys (home & away) for just EUR60 (normally EUR75).
Junior sizes will cost EUR50. Unfortunately he has no womens jerseys left. He has a small stock of older Leinster gear available.

I haven't seen the white armorfit jersey anywhere. :?

Have you asked Elverys in South William Street to order it? They're far better than Elverys on Stephens Green.

I've a mate working in Elvery's in Liffey Valley and he said they don't stock them :( I've even tried the Leinster Rugby Store and they don't stock them either!

Are you even sure that they produce the armour fit white? :?:

I was looking for them earlier in the season but couldnt find them anywhere, and even the white jerseys the players wear look a lot bigger than the armourfit blue jerseys. :?

The non-armourfit jersey's aren't great - very odd sizes with narrow shoulders and baggy torso's, look like they were made to fit couch potatoes

Saw some of them trying to flog the calendar before one of the games in the RDS - was tempted to ask "do YOU come with the calendar" but decided against it. I didn't want my face re-arranged.

They'd probably heard it about 5000 times beforehand.

Could always try "Only if you're in it, any chance of an autographed copy?"

Agreed ... hence why I don't wanna buy the white non armourfit one.

Hmm - I hope they do an auction of jerseys again this year then! I bought Girvans away jersey last year. Currently have Girvan, Emmet Byrne, Reggie, Eric Miller, Hickie and Macolms autorgraph on it. Need to get more on it before I frame it.
