Looking forward to seeing Kilgallen tonight. Have been impressed from what I've seen so far.

He and Russell will both see it as an opp to take a step forward.

Johnny frequently takes close to 2 mins on place kicks. He's well aware of this so I don't see it being a problem, but I can already imagine the media having a field day bout his attitude to referees after one of them blows him up on it.
This is unfortunately true. I just hope he adapts to the law emphasis early and without rows.

If the Ulster vs Munster game is anything to go by, nothing has changed at all. Munster taking 20 seconds to get to the lineout and Brace seems happy enough.

It was little more than a PR exercise anyway.

@leisnterrugby
In a late change to the Matchday 23, Andrew Porter replaces Marcus Hanan on the bench
Another late change. Huge shame for Hanan.

Does give a different look to our bench though.

See Max Deegan there in Auto Alley in a big feckin plastic boot. Did I miss an injury on him? He’ll be a big loss if he’s out for a while.

Very ropey stuff. Haven't seen J10 miss a tackle 1-1 like that for a while.

Think Larmour beat TOH twice in the build-up to the try

Ngatai, Deeney & JOB pick of the crop so far.

Lineout is absolutely awful. Big question mark over Kelleher in that area. It's a real achilles heel and has cost us.

Milne is a great carrier, very powerful.

First try was a beauty.

Connacht attack is looking much better than it has over last few weeks.

JGP's form is a bit of a concern. He's taking the piss a bit at times. Not switched on at all and stupid errors.

That was some powerplay. Real intensity that we didn't see in first half.

Larmour looks very sharp.

JGP special there. He’s one of the best 9s in the world I can remember at picking and giving perfect try-scoring passes from the base. Judges the required height and speed perfectly to allow players to score.

Don’t see what the criticism above is about. He seems to be having a good game to me.

Larmour looks back to his best.

Lineout is a shambles but I don’t think it’s down to Kelleher’s throwing? They seem to know our calls.
