McCarthy is the man on the bench.

Agree about his form though, looks off pace by a distance.

It's unlikely we've ever made as many mistakes in a home interpro since the game went professional.

BUT, once we did one phase right and got the refereeing decision on the high tackle, we showed what is possible. However, we've now got to focus on mauling lower and harder. We must stop the Ulster maul if we're to win this which is certainly not impossible.

Feel sorry for Healy as the specific mitigation was Stewart's sidestep. But too high is too high and there could be more of those based on what we've seen thus far.

The game is far from over but we're going to have to empty the tank and take the game to them with more precision in our passing.

Brilliant work for the try, gives them something to build on at least. I'd be more encouraged if Ulster didn't look half decent!

That's right, completely forgot. Would rather see Foley come on to be honest.

Poor miss by the ref on the McCloskey knock on there- we were looking dangerous a few metres from their line.
Ross not looking comfortable at all when he has to do anything other than shovel the ball on or kick it back in the pocket.

Ref has been very involved but communication has been excellent

Massive step by Ringer was the mitigating factor. Tackler didnt have the chance to react. That was refs reasoning
