This is great. Chile qualified for the RWC for the first team. Love to see them get a game against pro opposition and a chance to learn.

It's so hard for teams that far down the rankings to get games in front of tier 1 audiences.

Very interesting.

These types of games are likely easier to organise now the league doesn't play in the test windows and with less action for 'A' players.

Them lot get the World Champions and we get Chile.
Garth Brooks visits them so I suppose we should be expecting a vist from Christy Digman or Jedward?

Kneecap would be my preference - or Altered Hours.

I'll go along - Chile are an interesting story and history. Could be a decent afternoon entertainment
I like your right leg. A lovely leg for the role.
I've got nothing against your right leg.
The trouble is ... neither have you

Maybe the Matchday 23 will be peppered with lads from the academy?

Reading a Spanish language website, seems this game is on the 19th. Chile apparently playing Romania and Tonga the previous two weekends.

Haven’t seen it confirmed anywhere so don’t think anyone could say it’s definitely going ahead. Still in the realms of rumour.
