He's gotten awfully fond of that brick
Re: Leinster Squad 22-23
Saw this on an Opta thread on Twitter — Dan Sheehan has the best lineout throwing percentage since they started recording stats for the Six Nations.
Re: Leinster Squad 22-23
Great stats. Easy to read a lot into small gaps. For example the difference between Herring and Flannery is 1 missed lineout in 500 attempt: less than 1 per career.
4/5 are active players.

I mean, He's had 1 season in the 6N.
Ruddock's tackle stats consistently too low for me to be taken seriously as a Six Nations blindside..... Ruddock's defensive stats don't stack up. - All Blacks Nil, Jan 15th, 2014

Re: Leinster Squad 22-23
THey used to call squint throws even if there wasn't someone in the air when Flannery was playing too.

Re: Leinster Squad 22-23
Flannery-Herring-Sheehan...,what's the common denominator? POC
In 2022, Ireland scored a try from 28% (16/58) of the lineouts they had inside the opposition 22, the best rate of any of the 6N sides

You know I'm going to lose,
And gambling's for fools,
But that's the way I like it baby, I don't want to live FOREVER!

Re: Leinster Squad 22-23
Nah it was way more strict when Flanerry was playing. As long as the other team doesn't compete you've a lot of leeway on accuracy.

Re: Leinster Squad 22-23
Milne added to the Ireland squad again. I assume he will get released for the Dragons game. Not exactly flush with props at the minute.

More worrying is the injuries to Furlong, Healy and JGP.

JGP is apparently a hamstring, is that not what has had him out the past few months, worrying if he is picking up one after anothermildlyinterested wrote: ↑February 7th, 2023, 9:06 am More worrying is the injuries to Furlong, Healy and JGP.

Saw somewhere that Furlong has played 36 mins since November. Henshaw and Furlong have played practically no rugby in 5 months.

So his contract is until 2024 and looks like he'll move on then. Interesting.Dave Cahill wrote: ↑February 7th, 2023, 10:34 am Good interview with Vahktang about his decision to play for Georgia

Re: Leinster Squad 22-23
And Sexton has only started once since October also - in the 1280 minutes Leinster have played this season, Sexton has played 258, Furlong 76 and Henshaw 355 - very low numbersthe spoofer wrote: ↑February 7th, 2023, 10:28 am Saw somewhere that Furlong has played 36 mins since November.
