All 4 Irish provinces were involved, but Toyota cut the sponsorship after the Cheetahs didn't win the Currie Cup.

Toyota. If this works its will only work because of sponsorship they are offering.

Not sure though. I feel that 2 Irish A teams playing would be odd.

Any updates from the u18 games this week?

Only thing I’ve heard so far was that Alex Mullan captained the side in the second game.

Leinster have a very good reputation of looking after lads with injuries, even if they are not going to be involved the following season. I would say it is more likely that he has made the decision himself rather than it being forced on him.

Andrew Smith looks like a potential Dave Kearney replacement for me, although obviously Rob Russell pushed ahead of him last season and took his chances well.

Very difficult to know how much rugby DK has left in the tank. His last season was ruined by injury - he only played in four games, all of them during the Six Nations. He turned 33 earlier in the summer and has taken a lot of punishment over the years. He has played for Leinster for fourteen seasons and that's a long shift for any player.

Just looking back over one of your previous threads regarding our squad for the coming season Mildly, and we're a little light in the back three. Tommy O'Brien is going to miss a significant proportion of the season, which leaves us with Keenan and JOB at fullback, and then Lowe, Larmour and DK at wing.

There's definitely room for one of the academy wingers to get a good bit of gametime. Both Max O'Reilly and Chris Cosgrave are FBs in my opinion, wouldn't play either of them on the wing.
