Spicer is going into 6th year but he’s playing u18s because he’s young for his year. Spicer played u18s last year because he was too good for u17s so they kept him with people in his year in school

it depends on your year of the birth, if you were born in 03 you are u20, 04 = u19 and 05 = u18

If that was true then how come majority of people only get 1 year of u20s rugby? It’s because majority of people who just finished school are u20, majority of people going into 6th year are u19 and majority of people going into 5th year are u18. Therefore If you’re u18 going into 6th year you are young for your year as majority of u18s are going into 5th year. That’s why most people only get 1 year of u20s it’s because anyone who gets 2 years of u20s is because they were young for their year in school.
Spicer will get the chance to play 2 years of Irish u20s if he’s good enough because he’ll be u19 when he’s in first year college
Most people in first year college are u20.
Spicer is young for his year along with anyone else who’s u18 going into 6th year
