It's a fairly significant trek for their fans, 2 1/2 hours assuming no delay. Their fans wouldn't be known for travelling either. There is a rugby club there who get an average of around 5k so there might be some neutrals but not a lot.

It's a pretty cool looking stadium from the outside in fairness.

Nice shade of blue too!

There's an event in their stadium. They could have played at Stade or Parc de Princes (PSG aren't playing that weekend). Or even gone back to their old ground at Colombes. Very odd.

It sure is Flash. I’m wondering about the ferry to Le Havre though that would be from Rosslare I think.

Closest I can see from Rosslare would be Cherbourg

Just a heads up for anyone travelling by train to/from the various airports close to Gloucester, (Bristol, Cardiff, Birmingham). Ongoing strike action on the rail network could still be affecting travel into the new year.

If Paris becomes too expensive, it's a three hour drive from Rennes (also flights from Dublin) and a 2.5 hour drive from the ferry in Cherbourg (although the ferry is a gamble at that time of the year).

I was really hoping they would move to Brussels (which they have done previously) or Lille. Le Havre is directly accessible by train only from Paris I think (and a four-hour drive from Brussels).

I would guess they will sell cut-price tickets to local fans, so you probably don't need to shell out for tickets if they are looking for high prices online.

Just booked aer lingus 6.40am departure on Jan 14th and back on evening flight. Cost €53. I'll be driving down to Kingsholm for 1pm K.O if anyone wants a lift.

Anyone know why the Gloucester game is down for the RDS rather than Lansdowne seems odd we’re not getting our usual pre Christmas HQ gig?

Racing home game in January at Lansdowne Road, must reckon they will get a better crowd for that and can play Gloucester game at the RDS?

My suspicion is that January Aviva tickets might make their way to enough Christmas pressies to ensure a decent crowd
I like your right leg. A lovely leg for the role.
I've got nothing against your right leg.
The trouble is ... neither have you

Racing a bigger draw than Glaws. The bigger question is why they didn't swap the Racing home and away fixture so we could have played Racing in the Aviva and Racing could have played at their own stadium.

That would assume that there's some level of competent organisational skills within the EPCR...
