Virimi Vakatawa has been banned by the LNR for an unspecified medical condition.
He won't be able to continue his career in France.
Big loss for them. I wonder what it is. Maybe concussion.
Ruddock's tackle stats consistently too low for me to be taken seriously as a Six Nations blindside..... Ruddock's defensive stats don't stack up. - All Blacks Nil, Jan 15th, 2014

He was originally contracted by FFR directly, before R92 signed him. Although he was in French Squad in Japan during the summer, he has recently had knee surgery and FFR decision not to allow him a Licence on medical grounds will be explained at PC today by Galtie.

Speculation in French Rugby media this morning (Sud-Ouest, L'Equipe) is that it could be a 'probleme cardiaque' and as a member of the French Squad, he has already been referred to an appropriate expert Consultant. However, whether he is eligible to play overseas may ultimately be a decision for his club Racing92, who hold his contract - not his Licence

Confirmed this morning. First detected in 2019 but now showing signs of "progressive deterioration". Really tough position for a wonderful talent. Live long and happy big man and mind yourself.

It's our away games I want to see on free-to-air. I'll be at the home ones.
Do we have any idea at all what stadium we are likely to be playing our away game against Racing 92 in? Would love to go to Paris in December, but I'm guessing the game probably won't be in Paris.

The return game v Gloucester maybe will be selected by ITV.
Bit of a difference between Paris & Le Harve for a weekend away...
I don't think Racing have played there before and it's an outdoor stadium instead of an indoor / artificial turf one so that should be a bit of a leveller.
Still would've loved a visit to the U Arena though.
Was having a quick look at how to get there, seems like flying to Paris and making your way from there is the only option. It's about a 2 hour drive away.
