Probably waiting to see the semi finalists so they can change the rules to benefit English and French clubs.

Have EPCR given any clues as to when they'll confirm the actual ko times?

Am I totally mistaken in saying that Gloucester play a lot of home European matches on a Friday night?

For some reason I have that thought in my head. I could be way off!

Thing Racing Away first is ideal to be honest. That's the target now so set all guns and preparation blazing for that. Then.....
1) If we knock them over, we're flying or
2) If we get anything from the game, we're in good shape or
3) If we lose we still have plenty of scope for recovery.

That's the theory anyway!

Their Challenge Cup pool and knockout matches last season were split 50/50 Friday and Saturday.

Moving the Aviva game to Jan is a bit of a risk. Surely had to have been a better solution than having to move the away Racing game and having our showpiece Aviva game away from the pre Xmas party season.

They have played 17 home games over the past five seasons

Thursday = 1
Friday = 8
Saturday = 5
Sunday = 3

2nd season in a row we’ve had big games affected by half bright opposition who booked out their own venue. And actually seen those games announced with venue TBA.

Yep, that was Stade Yves de Manoir - the site of the 1924 Olympics (though a different stadium was used for the film).

Montpelliers stadium is also, when not trading under naming rights, Stade Yves de Manoir
