Speaking of injury jokers, while looking something else up recently, I was reminded that we signed a Fijian lock called Ifereimi Rawaqa as an injury joker after the 6N in 2005. Only one slight problem though, he never actually turned up.Leoslovechild wrote: ↑May 5th, 2022, 1:33 pmDon't think We will need an injury joker for the semi!tigerburnie wrote: ↑May 5th, 2022, 12:28 pm Van Staden is back in training, but doubtful to be in this squad, maybe he will play in the semi final against Munster...................................

I might be wrong I just feel like Leinster will target him too much defensively.bluemagic wrote: ↑May 5th, 2022, 2:20 pmNo Nadolo?TigsMan wrote: ↑May 5th, 2022, 1:23 pm I reckon Tiger might go with

Well, his comments there are not on the pitch. He was bang out of order with what he said.RoboProp wrote: ↑May 5th, 2022, 12:51 pmAye, but he's only a count on the pitch. I have heard and read umpteen (I'm bringing it back!) accounts of him being a total Leg End off the pitch, especially with kids with additional needs etc. as a dad of a kid with additional needs it was nice to seecurates_egg wrote: ↑May 5th, 2022, 12:42 pmIt's amazing he didn't get more caps under Eddie Jones given what a total count he is.
Before last weekend, he had scored 6 tries in three seasons. Lowe averages that in a month.
Fair play to him for finally breaking the record last weekend, but I very much doubt we will see him this weekend.

Not even on the bench though?

Not as versatile.
Also I don't think he makes as much impact off the bench as he does when he starts IMO.

Re: Leicester V Leinster EPCR q/f 2022
The feedback to Raynal might have had a positive tone to the effect that only 3/6 penalty calls against England were incorrect, identifying his averages in that match were an improvement on the usual 5/6 incorrect scrum penalties.....
Re: Leicester V Leinster EPCR q/f 2022
Are teams not usually announced on the Thursday before Heineken Cup games? Or am I mistaken?

I think Heyes more likely to start than Cole. Possibly the same with Snyman. They could also throw in Van Poortlviet from the beginning and keep wraps on Youngs to finish.TigsMan wrote: ↑May 5th, 2022, 1:23 pm I reckon Tiger might go with

Opinions are largely based on their selections against Clermont second leg where they were trying to get out fast and close out the tie.

Mike Ross and Nigel Owens were all over this after the game. Think Nigel said 3 penos should have been ours and one of the other penos should have just been a free kick.
Re: Leicester V Leinster EPCR q/f 2022
Reasonably quiet build up considering its URC vs Prem leaders in a H Cup quarterfinal.
The scrum will be fascinating and I think we’ll be ok. I also think we’ll have the edge at the breakdown. For me, the key is cutting out errors/ turnovers and keeping to single / low double digit penalty count.
Incredibly nervous but can’t wait!

Expecting plenty of UK based supporters to have snapped up tickets. I’m in a group of five going, 3 Leinster fans and the other two don’t follow Tigers either. Can’t wait for it will be my first game since the loss to Saracens up in Newcastle
