If, as is rumored, there are few changes to the starting team for Sundays game against Argentina, we are unlikely to see many of our big hitters for this game, I would have thought. Ulster on the other hand should have a pretty full deck.

Gonna be a Toughie!

Depending on who Faz selects for Sunday, we could select a very respectable team of players who need game time and could be in contention against Bath. Putting players used/ required by Ireland in brackets, it could read something like:

15. J O'Brien (Keenan), 14.Adam Byrne (Larmour), 13. T O'Brien (Ringrose), 12. C Frawley (Henshaw), 11. D. Kearney, (Lowe), 10. R Byrne (Byrne H), 9. L. McGrath (JGP), 1. E Byrne (Porter), 2. Sheehan (Kelleher), 3. M. Al'a'toua (Furlong / Healy). 4. D Toner (Ryan), 5. R. Molony (Baird), 6. R. Ruddock, (Doris), 7. D. Leavy (JVdF), 8. M. Deegan ((Conan).

Not a bad combination to have available and other quality players available for bench like: Dooley, Treacy, Vahk, Josh Murphy, Connors / Penny, McCarthy, Hawkshaw, Russell / Cosgrave.

I'd be fairly happy with that group facing Ulster in the RDS, so long as we have a full deck to play Bath and MontP in successive weeks in December.

Nice selection.

Harry Byrne has a sub appearance at best in the international window and will need to be sharp with Sexton out. I'd put him on the bench.

I thought Larmour was fit, he should be in there too if he's in contention for the HC.

Yeah, you'd assume he's injured given he hasn't been picked. Hope getting dropped has the same effect it did on Lowe.

He has a lot to work on and Conway levels of efficiency would be a good example for him to try to reach.

Hopefully, he learns quicker than Conway. It took him about 5 years after leaving us to reach that level of efficiency and consistency.

I'd hope the likes of Frawley, Larmour, Baird and maybe Sheehan would be available for this.

It's a really important game.

Injuries have really ruined COB's career.

Looks like we'll have Larmour avail for the weekend according to training photos.

Could see a backline of
Luke, Ross, Larmour, Frawley, Osborne/TOB, Byrne, JOB

Henshaw must be in the mix too.

Do you reckon? Considering he played a good chunk at the weekend I'd say he'll be given week off tbh.

I'd like to see him get more game time before the Heineken. He's only played that 65 minutes since the Lions tour.
