Peter Stringer be a better idea if we are trying to get underage and academy scrumhalves pass to improve.
A great idea.
Mirror, Mirror on the Wall who's the greatest player of them all? It is Drico your majesty.

Interesting
best leinster 9 at his age grade.. despite being uncontracted and two of his competitors having academy contracts.

Unless I mised something, he missed (most) all of last season through injury and now needs to show consistency of form to potentially turn heads and earn a late entry to the academy a la Russell. A reasonable possibility?

hardly surprising given how little rugby he has played since leaving school. Wait and see how it goes, the same can be said for both 9's in the leinster academy when they've appeared at AIL level.

Quality try from Gunne here, seems to be the highest rated 9 coming through at the moment, but I wouldn't have a great handle on that right now:

It was well taken.

From about 20s to 50s he appeared not to communicate with his first receiver/outhalf. Try was scored and keeping it tight was a reasonable call, but you always want to know when going wide is on.

full game here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kXRc-0W ... lanCassidy

havent watched it all, but like the look of his pass so far.

and Bobby Sheehans lineout throwing.

edit: Sheehan is a battering ram. still not sure i'd have taken McKee over him last summer. Moved to 6 in the 2nd half too.

Sheehan and Gilsenan combine to score a try here: https://youtu.be/kXRc-0WV5MI?t=3982

Gilsenan gone off, thought he played well.. hopefully he can stay healthy and get a good run at it.

Bobby Sheehan very impressive too.

Cormac Foley scored his 4th try of the AIL season last night for Lansdowne, reports are he has played well for them this season, good to see, hope it continues.

Gibson-Park played a game in Ballsbridge at the weekend. Worth a look if you can get hold of the tape.
