Edinburgh beat the Sharks pretty comfortably this afternoon in South Africa. That one bodes well for us I guess. Thinking 5 points from the trip to South Africa would be a great return.

Isn’t there a 2,000 person limit at the games until next week or was that lifted yesterday?
Well if you chase the majority of the rugby fans out of the country . . . .

I’ve just finished watching Toulouse(one of my favourite teams) v Lyon in T14. God it’s boring. The URC might lack some quality but it’s not as turgid.

Gave up watching T14 a couple of years ago for that very reason, most of the games are damp affairs and from the look of results it still generally only one team turning up - which is normally the home side

Big Win for Edinburgh and Ulster could and proably should have won out in SA

The ospreys and the dragons were both useless and made the lions and bulls look like world beaters, the Lions have some v decent players in fairness and I can see them making a real end of season charge up the table

Cardiff and Glasgow a good game between two attack minded sides who are dreadful in defence, looking forward to the Cardiff vs Scarlets game this weekend should be plenty of points , just a shame both sides can't lose :)

Watching Stormers V Ospreys ( for my sins) ... has reinforced my views on Frank Murphy as referee... I know many on this forum have the idea that he is biased against us... but quite simply he is just a shockingly bad referee

The confusion among the commentators after several of his decisions has added to what is a very one-sided match.

Where did you read this etc? Would have thought given the current table that Lansdowne Road is a very warm favourite as a venue. If it is in South Africa, some reward for Leinster topping the table etc, given the conditions in SH and only one win for a NH side so far and that was in a downpour.

Jim Hamilton did indeed speculate that the final could be in South Africa, SH winter. Interesting to see if it happens or it stays in NH.

Wouldnt be too bad if @ sea level , but...Damp squib if No SA team involved... could be lowest ever crowd @ Final !!!

Bold option for sure, one week to sell tickets / sort out travel between semi finals and the final, if you wait until after the semi finals to decide the venue.
