PREMIER SPORTS WINS TV RIGHTS FOR NEW UNITED RUGBY CHAMPIONSHIP FOR FOUR YEARS
Every game counts and will be LIVE on Premier Sports in new world-class 16 club league

UK sports broadcaster Premier Sports will show every game LIVE and host more than 100 exclusive rugby fixtures in the new look United Rugby Championship with coverage from every round across five elite rugby nations - Ireland, Italy, Wales, Scotland and South Africa.

Premier Sports has also been awarded TV rights for the Republic of Ireland for the first time in the new era of the game-changing tournament expanding its coverage to bring together live coverage from each round to a wider rugby audience across the UK and Ireland.

Premier Sports will provide exclusive coverage of more than two thirds of the tournament’s 151 games and all the top-billing live rugby action from the United Rugby Championship - as South Africa’s four Super teams Vodacom Bulls, Cell C Sharks, DHL Stormers and Emirates Lions join - providing the most comprehensive live TV coverage available and headlined by world rugby’s leading pundits.

Am I reading the calendar right, do we have a free weekend before the euro sf?
That's hardly good for the teams that are and the teams that are not involved in the euro sf.

Getting a little ahead of ourselves?

The really important impact could be the route taken by the open top bus

You did understand what I said? The "we" applies to all participants in the urc.

It's a free weekend before the euro SF for those in the SF.
But those who are not will have 2 free weekends back to back before the final regular season game where top 8 positions will be decided.
So I am suggesting that this doesn't suit anyone in the urc. So assuming we have qualified for that, then no I don't think I'm getting ahead of myself.

The argument is moot. There's no free weekend before the Euro SF's.

2021/22 EPCR weekends:

Round 1 – 10/11/12 December
Round 2 – 17/18/19 December
Round 3 – 14/15/16 January 2022
Round 4 – 21/22/23 January 2022

Round of 16 (1st leg) – 8/9/10 April 2022
Round of 16 (2nd leg) – 15/16/17 April 2022
Quarter-finals – 6/7/8 May 2022
Semi-finals – 13/14/15 May 2022
Challenge Cup final – Friday 27 May 2022; Stade Vélodrome, Marseille
Heineken Champions Cup final – Saturday 28 May 2022; Stade Vélodrome, Marseille

Thank you, I don't know what version I was looking at. I knew it couldn't be right.

1 week to organise a semi final. That'll be hard on travelling fans.
