Bath appear to be on their way to a 9th straight defeat vs Saints. Barely recognise any of the team. In fact there's a few on the saints team that used to be Bath. Maybe 3 internationals and 1 or 2 I know from previous games.

In spite of that probably good news about Pollard, I still have major worries about this match.
Remember the last match there, where we were well beaten and only a wonderful bit of Nacewa magic saved the vital losing bonus point. Knowing that we needed seven points, and not five, just on full time he declined touching down in the corner with a try but cut back towards the posts to do so. Very few wingers would have done that in that particular instance.
Also it is a very intimidating ground, with the steepest stand seating that I have ever seen.
Just for interest. You can fly to Carcassonne arriving 3 hours 40 before the match. It is 2 hours to Montpelier, so very manageable. Back on Sunday afternoon.
Cost. Just €60. Presumably MOL has decided nobody going over.

Almost every Club has a 'turning point', but no signs that it has arrived yet at the Rec. Looking forward to Aviva next weekend but we need to keep the foot to the floor for first half so that Bath don't get any ideas that their 'turning point' is European Competition. The team I'd like to see:

Personally, I can't see all four of Ryan, Conan, JGP and J10 starting next week. Assuming they're all good to go, I could see them coming off the bench to prime them for the away match vs Montpellier, which is more than likely to be a far more difficult task than disposing of the Prem's bottom feaders in the Aviva. I see Pollard is not our only concern at ten for Montpellier; they also have Paolo Garbisi on their books. He played 65 mins in their victory yesterday vs Perpignan. Montpellier are currently third in the Top 14.

I had a look on Reddit and yes, it's the result of them not being allowed to got to Disneyland on daddy's money.

It tied in with someone saying that Cardiff really could make a go of it as they've had a management team and investment in place for ten years but (the union and the URC). No idiots. You don't have the money in place. You have some people in charge of your club that are not being accountable.

FWIW I believe the closing of the borders to Africa was a shotshow for performance by the governments of Europe and hotel quarantine was the more appropriate response.

Eh, I think you forgot us beating them 14-35 down there last December.

Doesn't take from your point though, that this is gonna be a tough match to win.

Also in 2018 when we beat them 14-23 down there on our way to winning the competition.
