Fair play to him.

Hopefully he won't get into any trouble.

Exeter hamering Galsgow means we move up a place to sixth, but that's a bad result for us in the grand scheme of things.

BP win tomorrow would put us fourth, and an absolute blowout (an unlikely +60) would put us third.

We could stay there if Ulster and Sale both lose (away to Northampton and Clermont respectively).

Racing nailed on for first place in Pool A already.

That was some paddling for Glasgow. Got a soft try 5 minutes into the 2nd half to take the lead 14-17 and then Exeter changed gears and won 52-17

Leicester have some really powerful players but the tackling was still shocking at times.
Also his saluting the crowd and banging his crest gave that impression too

Poor Jack Aungier got schooled thereafter by Genge. With about a ten mins to go he, Aungier, went off with what looked like an injured arm. Had me wondering whether Friend had just decided to get him off. Who replaced him after that? I couldn't make it out.

Certainly Bealham to Aungier to a loose-head sub (Tuimauga) coming on as THP was the death knell for Connacht. Yet again, the Leicester scrum and maul power saved their life and constructed the come-back win.

Connacht have done a great job with their scrum in general this season and Burke deserves huge credit for his progress at LHP. The two hookers are both strong scrummagers but they really have only one quality THP, Bealham. Aungier and Robertson-McCoy are learning the business but against somebody like Genge that's not enough.

Although it was a really tough tackle to make, I hoped that TO'H would make that last tackle, it was on his strong side but he got his angle slightly wrong. But they're the tackles that must be made to win games like these.

A tough day for the Westies who gave it a great shot.

Is it looking like we will be playing Munster in the last 16?

Off to Baff next weekend if we win or win with a bonus pt are we likely to qualify for an away draw (could that depend upon pts diff?), is there a scenario where we can get a home draw ?, any insights please ?. Getting my self focused for the Rec ?.

Round of 16 is 2 legs. Higher seed side, i.e. top 4 in Pool gets home game 2nd. Top 2 in Pool get locked in home QF. Top 1 gets locked in home country advantage in SF. QF and SF are single games etc.

A1 v B8, A2 v B7 etc.

Clever Burns chip causes chaos in NH 22. Lowry quickest to react and scores under the posts. Doak converts - 10-19 on the stroke of 40 mins.

Madser on for Burns in his first action picks and goes off a 5 metre peno and fails to get over. Turnover to Courtney Lawes. Uh-oh.....
