Kerr Barlow is the brains and engine of LAR. He's gone with what looks like a bad hand injury and they look and play like headless chickens without him.

Stupid stupid Racing.
Re: Heineken Cup 2021/22
Am thinking that myself... They obviously have huge players and I know all french knockout games tend to be slug fests... But both of these teams look very limited in thinkingwixfjord wrote:Neither of these sides on this form look any great shakes.
Lots of talent and size but lacking structure.

I like your right leg. A lovely leg for the role.
I've got nothing against your right leg.
The trouble is ... neither have you

This is really poor.

It's still the high percentage play to take the lead!
Thomas should have passed of course but that's the danger of not going for a shot.

Jaysus this is awful stuff.

If this was a URC Play-off every journo & social media outlet would be humming about the terrible standard. Obviously a big day for both teams but quality of thinking and tactics very low for past 20 minutes.

It’s like a different sport to yesterday

La Rochelle it is. Have to say I'm happier with that.
Great opportunity to test ourselves and gain some revenge.
Skelton out and JGP/Sexton available is a big difference to last year. Looks like Kerr Barlow might be a doubt also.

Unfortunately, we probably won't face the same LAR in a fortnight's time. But it's good to realise that their leadership material is spread so thin.

They have a tough T14 match next week.Ruckedtobits wrote: ↑May 15th, 2022, 5:04 pm Unfortunately, we probably won't face the same LAR in a fortnight's time. But it's good to realise that their leadership material is spread so thin.

Very unimpressed with Lar Rochelle when facing 13 men even 12 at one stage. But their pack is humongous and if they can get us into an armwrestle then who knows.

But that's the way I like it baby, I don't want to live FOREVER!

Great. Another opportunity for the Irish media to make this all about Munster.

Re: Heineken Cup 2021/22
LAR are much better than they showed today but I don’t think they’re as good as last year. They just don’t seem as solid or have the cutting edge out wide that they showed against us. Their back three were just spectators today but tore us apart last year. Lots of really skilful moments from both sides but then they undid it by being disjointed or doing something stupid.
I think they’ll up their game for the final but based on yesterday we have more weapons to attack them with this time.
