I'd say it's very unlikely that the rules will change between now and Friday, will Bath just refuse to travel?Oldschoolsocks wrote: ↑January 12th, 2022, 2:39 pmthey're some shower that lot!!!LeinsterLeader wrote: ↑January 12th, 2022, 2:11 pm The integrity of the competition continues to take hits

If only it was still the ERC running the competition....Flash Gordon wrote: ↑January 12th, 2022, 11:27 am
I partially agree but Toulon very publicly did throw their toys out of the pram last year and it made no difference. The issue for the ERC is that if they keep ignoring big powerhouse European Clubs with stars on their shirts that's only going to go one way.
Remember the great tournament we had when it was ERC run? I know the pandemic made a balls of things, but we have worst possible shower in charge to manage the competition through it.
Dont Panic!

They are bottom of the Premiership by some distance, there is no relegation, this is basically the only competition they are in. What a mess that club is in and then they have hired Van Graan to compound the misery.Oldschoolsocks wrote: ↑January 12th, 2022, 2:39 pmthey're some shower that lot!!!LeinsterLeader wrote: ↑January 12th, 2022, 2:11 pm The integrity of the competition continues to take hits

Re: Heineken Cup 2021/22
French Government have dropped the 48 hour quarantine rule on arrival for those vaccinated travelling from the UK, negative test required pre departure just now less than 24 hours before departure. Comes in on Friday morning. Sale had already indicated they were going to travel Saturday for their game in Clermont in Sunday. Bath play in La Rochelle on Saturday and Scarlets play in Bordeaux on Sunday. Newcastle play in Biarritz on Friday night in Challenge Cup. Players / Coaches must be vaccinated to avoid 10 day quarantine on arrival in France.

Has a smell on the MonyP situation (i.e. hedge your bets for as long as you can cause the other team might end up being in worse nick then you)

Some team! A couple of guys on the bench I thought would start if they were fit but other then that......
No second row coverage......Ruddock I suppose?
McGrath vovering himself from the bench is a strange one too

So.... what's the difference to the Leinster situation? No obvious difference, except they've let the game go ahead. EPCR muppets.LeinsterLeader wrote: ↑January 14th, 2022, 11:11 am And the Sh!t show continues

Re: Heineken Cup 2021/22
The difference is that Munster can field a real team not just one on paper and they actually want to play.Dave Cahill wrote: ↑January 14th, 2022, 12:20 pmI can think of at least 14 differencesDexter wrote:So.... what's the difference to the Leinster situation? Montpellier named a team thinking the game was going to be cancelled. They were horrified at the thought of playing, they probably hadn't even trained properly from earlier in the week.

Re: Heineken Cup 2021/22
That Munster vs Castres decision is genuinely scandalous. Hope Munster put 50 on them. Would love to see every French team eliminated early after all of this.

Re: Heineken Cup 2021/22
Went to Limerick for a game before Christmas when most the other French clubs didn't travel and changed the rules to let them do it.
