Maybe they took the photo from POM’s stags into account when awarding the places?
Can think of any other reason he was selected.
While POM was outstanding in NZ, he had a very poor season for munster

He led the kids in Red to victory vs Wasps away in what was possibly Munster's best performance of the season, putting in an amazing try-saving tackle very shortly after kickoff, thereby saving the thing from going south big time and giving his team a huge boost in momentum. They never looked back after that moment. Credit, where credit is due, IMO.
