My favourite tweet of the week from Karl Brophy….

“I know some Munster supporters are pissed off at having to play their QF. In Dublin because of Ed Sheehan, but
Leinster have to play their QF in Leicester , despite winning every Heineken game they have played, scoring an average of 8 tries and 56 points, because of the EPCR.”

If Munster get through to a SF and it's at home, they also won't be able to play that in Thomond due to Sheeran gigs.

(SFs are 'home venue advantage' this year).

So basically if we beat Leicester we're guaranteed a SF in the Aviva.

Welford Road.
QF : No of seats available by section as of now. A is the Breedon Stand terrace. 40 to join Tigers and get access to tickets. One person could join and buy a number of tickets. e.g.Breedon terrace is 35 ster per adult ticket; I selected 10 and it let me get the full way to final payment.

Of course; we could wait for the Leinster allocation. I reckon there should be a good Leinster turnout and as said before often times the away team allocations are in crappy locations.

Away team allocation is across all ticket types. If you are a ST holder there isn't a need to pay for Leicester membership... 6000 is a more than usually travel though I suppose more UK based folk will try to go along

I like your right leg. A lovely leg for the role.
I've got nothing against your right leg.
The trouble is ... neither have you

sure; makes sense - and having away support spread across the ground makes it less impactive. Although I do remember the away QF in the Stoop in 2009 it seemed to me a huge amount of us were positioned behind the goals at one end. Since then I think we've reached min the QF in 12 HCs and been away in 2? (Toulon: lost 2014, and Exeter: won 2021). All others have been at home; and 1 loss v Saracens 2020). I think we'll get a good travelling support as it is a QF (hopefully), and coming out of 2 years of being cooped up at home !

made the £40 investment and this new Tigers Supporters Club member just got 4 great stand ticket for the game - easy as pie.

Now we just need to know the date to sort out the logistics of getting there and back. Always wanted to see these iconic rugby grounds - was in Franklin Gardens for the saints game so need to see this other ground now.

My lasting memory of the last time I was at Welford Road.

Same here; taking a punt on it being Sat. Birmingham flights were cheap and it's only 45mins away.

As far as I can see areas S, P and J are either sold out or blocked off, plenty of blocks at the back of each section either sold out or blocked off, suppose all clubs do the same !, remember Wasps supporter’s complaining some years ago about where they found themselves in the Anglsea Stand !.

Worst case you stay the night and take the direct train line from Luton Airport Parkway to and from Leicester. Assuming no engineering works that is.

Luton - such a shithole God made it with 3 train stations, 3 motorway junctions and an airport so you can get out of it as quickly as possible!
If going via Luton train will not be a good plan, there is engineering work blocking a portion of the route: https://www.eastmidlandsrailway.co.uk/t ... -pancras-0

Still 493 terrace tickets as of this moment unsold at Welford Road, should be plenty left for tomorrow’s general sale via Tigers ticket office, probably a good idea to register an account first if you don’t already have one …..

My four are out early to Luton so that we can get to Leicester by 1230hrs, lunch and then to see what Munster can achieve before the main event. Back Sunday via Birmingham.
