Re: Spectators in RDS ON 11TH June v Dragons?
Does anyone know how many members there are?
There were 12,800 season tickets in 2019-2020 but I suspect a majority (like myself) paid for more than one.
With 9K (let's say) individual ST account holders and a 20% uptake for 2020-2021 membership, there would be 1800 members.
I personally suspect it's less than this, and would estimate 500 - 1K members at most, but this is pretty uninformed guesswork. It's hard to gauge from this forum due to the high percentage of ultras.
Just trying to convince myself that I have a relatively high chance of 'winning' the lottery (which of course a completely pointless exercise either way).

A figure of 1,600 sticks out in my head but I could be way wrong. I think Mickey D said that in an interview

Thanks. If that's right, that means about 1/3 chance of getting tickets, based on most or all members entering the lottery and a guesstimate allocation of 1000 (of 1200 total), corresponding to 500 'winners'.LeinsterLeader wrote: ↑June 1st, 2021, 1:50 pm I figure of 1,600 sticks out in my head but I could be way wrong. Anyway, lottery entered! If you're not in, you can't win.
Re: Spectators in RDS ON 11TH June v Dragons?
Being loyal or foolish, I'm not sure which, I bought 2 memberships as I have 2 season tickets. I was only given the opportunity to enter the lottery once, so your chances have gone up slightly. I'll wear both of my scarves if I win.Made Of Ale wrote: ↑June 1st, 2021, 2:07 pmThanks. Re: Spectators in RDS ON 11TH June v Dragons?
It said you only had to enter once but each membership on the account would be entered separately and then depending on success/want the person could choose what tickets they wanted to keep and pay for on their account. So for example you have two memberships, you enter once but could get zero tickets, 2 tickets or 4 tickets. (That is how I read it anyway).D4surfer wrote: ↑June 1st, 2021, 3:02 pmBeing loyal or foolish, I'm not sure which, I bought 2 memberships as I have 2 season tickets. That's a bit unfair, you should have had two shots. I doubt that too many people have more than one membership, so I hope you get it.

I think it happens quite a lot - I know a few on here have multiple ST's on their account. I have two as wellMade Of Ale wrote: ↑June 1st, 2021, 3:39 pmThat's a bit unfair, you should have had two shots. I doubt that too many people have more than one membership, so I hope you get it.

Woohoo
Ruddock's tackle stats consistently too low for me to be taken seriously as a Six Nations blindside..... Ruddock's defensive stats don't stack up. - All Blacks Nil, Jan 15th, 2014

Congrats to those who got tickets - hope you have a fantastic night - and if Scott Fardy and Michael Bent are there that you'll give them an extra hard cheer to say thanks on behalf of us all

Well that just put a sour taste on the start of the bank holiday. Well done to all who got tickets. Shout loud for all of us who can’t be there
