I think he took a bang when he fell off Stockdale and never shook it off - could be wrong though

Whatever about wanting a change to the law, the eir pundits seemingly thinking that the ref should severely punish Henshaw when he hasn't actually done anything wrong is ridiculous.

Possession and territory don’t make for great reading from our perspective. Just 30% possession and 28% territory. The plus is that we are somehow level and could have been ahead only for an illegal turnover at the end of the half.

We need to find a way to get our hands on the ball and not concede stupid turnovers. We’ve looked decent in the very little of the ball that we have had.

Yeah true but we probably would have lost the challenge. Playing the ball on the ground and side entry very rarely reffed anymore.
Very true, but surely they have to apply the law when there is a challenge where you call them out to check out the offense?

Don't think we could have challenged it.

Yes but if you're thinking of when JOB passed to him then I thought JOB butchered it and he had no choice.
No specific case per se just.....much of his career

His stepping is a huge asset so it’s a bit like saying ROG kicked too much but he so often turns into trouble or goes lateral.

Or maybe the coaches watched his Senior Cup highlights and finally realised he’s the best kicker in the squad.

So we’ve about a 50% of an out half then ?? And actually Henshaw has been at first receiver a lot too , so maybe 40% ?

I'm pretty sure there's a section in the laws about it. It specifically refers to "any tackle where a commentator feels like it's a bad example for kids who might try to copy the player in an under 16s match the following weekend". I'm surprised you haven't noticed that law.

Yeah, similar to when Munster tried to challenge at the very end of the game against us — the ref told them they couldn’t challenge it because it wasn’t a decision. Haven’t read the actual laws around the captains challenge so not sure precisely what that means.

I thought JOB was just taking them as it made sense for a left footer with a big boot to kick on that side, close to the line. But McGrath threw a few passes to Ringrose for clearance kicks early on, now that I think of it.

We have been terrible tonight. Very disappointing so far, especially seeing more of the same in the second half. Ulster looking like the team energised by the half time talk.

We’ve had the ball?

Not Furlong’s best game for us. Healy very hit and miss too.

Our own unforced errors are killing us. Ulster would be further ahead if they were more composed when opportunities arose

And now they’re not ahead at all!
