Delighted to hear this, he was very much one of the players I was thinking about when I said we might not have heard the last of the departures.

I’m still certain he’s got the ability needed, injuries are the only worry from my POV, although they’re a very big worry. He’s just gone 23 so you’d imagine this is make or break for him, fingers crossed it goes well.

There's a bang of "remember Tadhg Beirne" off this one. Which is no bad thing, lad just needs the best S&C to get him to where we know we can.

I noticed this too! I just didn't want to jinx anything.

Without any form of official S and C knowledge I wonder if more rugby has been a factor? The lads were laid off for so long and not as mobile with covid I wonder did they try and get their bodies back too quickly?

For sure something has changed this season.

I'd imagine he's done in a blue jersey unfortunately. Unlucky with injuries and he was good in pre season but looked incredibly off the pace in the cameos he got early on in the season.

Huge shame because he was so good at the start of his career and had the size and kicking/passing game that could've made him a great option at 12.

Hard to know about COB. After Leavy injury records look bad, but Charlie Ryan was extended.

So whatever happens, it relies on more information than is available in the public domain.

I thought I've read previously that most clubs have about 30% injury rate at any point in time. So 15% of the squad injured is pretty good.
