Saw some lad on Facebook this morning posting photos of himself with Leo and Robin McBride in Dublin Airport.
Probably in the air by now.
Very curious as to who's on board the flight.

Was in the airport this morning and was talking to them. It’s a young squad going out all the internationals are on holiday.

From photos I’ve seen it’s a mixed squad. Porter and kelleher are both travelling

It’s insane that we’re on here trying to guess from photos who’s in the squad for the trip to SA. For me, this is another example of Leinster Rugby’s poor PR, Marketing and supporter Comms.
Connacht announced a 28 man squad for their trip.

I also not that there’s very little coverage in the Sunday papers of Leinster. Obviously we were the Friday match and news cycles move on but we should be feeding stories and interviews to make sure that we’re always front page.

Keenan, Sheehan, Jimmy O Brien, Ross Byrne all aren’t traveling to South Africa. Most internationals aren’t.

I wonder if Leinster are subverting the 2 week tour idea and they're going to play Sexton and rotate Byrne in.

Or maybe they'll give Frawley 2 starts at 10 with Hawkshaw in support.

There's also the issue that Leinster are the dominant team in Celtic Rugby over over 10 years and it's our first time touring SA against the big SA teams. Getting SA audiences to accept the tournament needs them to see it as top tier.

We’ve earned the right to send a second/third string and we’ve definitely done that!

Looking at the 31, I’d say we’ll go hard at the first game and then send Porter, Kelleher and maybe Frawley and Big Mike home.

We’re very light at second row, which will be challenging going to SA.

Should be a great experience for some of the lads.

I thought I couldn’t admire Rhys Ruddock more but this shows what a leader he is.

Delighted to see a young hooker travelling, much needed for next season. Does this mean Cronin has played his last game for us though?

Hard to know how much game time some lads will get but I’d like to see Soroka get a good few minutes, think he’ll be an important player for us next season.

No Luke is a bit of a strange one. The others need game time but given that he’s not in the Ireland reckoning I’d have thought he’d be important for these games.

I hope that squad is still able to give a good platform for Harry. He really needs these games and it’d be awful for him if his chances are scuppered by not having a strong team around him.

Pretty disappointed that neither of Ryan or Baird are making this trip. Makes it unlikely either will play for us in the QF and hard to see the second row pairing we had out on Friday match up to Leicester

Very surprised not to see Dev, Luke and Cronin on a tour like this for the experience they would bring.

Very inexperience half back pairing, tough to see us winning out there with that squad

Indeed. Although they have plenty of choice at hooker and front row in general.

Even second row they have Murphy, Dunne, Deeney and Soroka who can play there. Even Rhys at a push.

But scrum half we could have done with some experience. Neither player has much. And in general, the experience all those players you've named would have made a difference.

In Leo we trust.

You can pick the 15 and most of the 23 for the QF from the remainers.

I'd say they took 3 x front rows because Porter and Kelleher will fly home after Durban

I don’t think it does. Ryan did the warmup on Fri so must be close to returning, I’d say the choice is to not send him around the world and to trust that high intensity training with the first 15 will benefit him more.

Molony will start against Leicester for sure, Baird would be nice for bench impact alright.
