When coombes asked for some feedback on his non selection from van grab, he was told he needed to work on his 'angry face'!

It really does make you laugh doesn’t it, great opportunity to blood new players in a non final situation. Even not going for Casey to give him game time is disappointing but Munster never change - the old saying it’s harder to be dropped then get in the team comes to mind

To be fair POM deserves a chance to improve on his 1 carry he made against us in the final just gone.carlow man wrote: ↑April 23rd, 2021, 3:12 pmWhen coombes asked for some feedback on his non selection from van grab, he was told he needed to work on his 'angry face'!

Absolutely. Massive carry it was too. To go along with about 7/8 tackles he made. Some man for 1 man.

Never mind POM why play CJ and not play a player that will be there next season to gain experience

They’ve done that with JJ. Always felt he was a talented player who got a raw deal in Munster. Think he could have been a very good player if he was brought through the Leinster academyTheleinsterlad wrote: ↑April 23rd, 2021, 3:23 pmNever mind POM why play CJ and not play a player that will be there next season to gain experience

Average age of the pack is 23, with Ed Byrne the oldest at 27. Pretty remarkable even for a rotated side.

That’s the only thing. Our games against ulster and Munster to one constant was the old heads in 2nd row with toner and fardy. It will be interesting to see how molony bosses the pack in this game - he has it in him

Match Preview
Not this lot again!!!
For what feels like the tenth time this season, it's Leinster versus bloody Munster!!
Actually it's only the third time this season that Leinster and Munster will play each other but it feels like a lot, lot more. This is because the two teams also played each other twice as the remainder of last season was played out in August and September. This will be their fifth meeting in eight months and you wouldn't blame the players for being sick of the sight of each other.

Really looking forward to the game now and great opportunity for a couple to put their hand up for selection in the match day 23 next week

Is there a better shop window for a lad who (hopefully) is looking at a few offers?wixfjord wrote: ↑April 23rd, 2021, 10:09 am Must be very hard for HOS mentally at the moment.
Potentially his last few games as a pro and he's being asked to start against Munster and bench in Europe.
Must be messing with his head.
Although at least the pressure is off and it's a chance for him to show what he can do.

It will be a landmark performance if our pack survive in scrum and maul. We'll be fine in line-out and at breakdowns but the other elements will be a major challenge. If we can breakeven at scrums and their line-out mauls, it will be a great achievement for the coaching group.

Doris!! So happy he's back.
Young pack who will be there for many years + loads of experience on the bench.
Big call to back HOS with an academy guy in line for his debut as the only backup plan.
Big game for Larmour to show form at fullback

I'd think we have a stronger scrum, but probably close enough that the ref is the biggest difference.mildlyinterested wrote: ↑April 23rd, 2021, 4:52 pmWhy do you say that?Ruckedtobits wrote: ↑April 23rd, 2021, 4:46 pm It will be a landmark performance if our pack survive in scrum and maul.
