Ospreys at the RDS, Friday 19th of March, 8.15pm
Hope to see some more of the young lads in this, interested to see if Leinster get any international squad players back for this.
Would like to see Sheehan & Dunne retained in starting team.

I think we might see a dress rehearsal of some combinations for the Pro14 final in this.
Depending on what we get back from the national camp (if anything), something like the following would be good to see.
Dooley/Byrne, Cronin, Bent, Toner, Fardy, Rhys, VDF, Penny, Luke, Ross, DK, Frawley, ROL, Kelleher, JOB
Sheahan, Dooley/Byrne, Clarkson, Molony, Murphy, HOS, HB, MOR

If we are to get players back from the Ireland squad it's only likely to be a back-rower or two. The likes of Ed and Ross Byrne will be needed as cover for the England match.
Look out Itchy, he's Irish

Re: Ospreys at the RDS, Friday 19th of March, 8.15pm
Leinster Rugby Head Coach Leo Cullen has issued an injury update ahead of the Guinness PRO14 game against Ospreys in the RDS Arena this Friday (kick-off: 8.15pm – live on Eir Sport).
There is positive news on Ciarán Frawley who is due to train this week after recovering from a shoulder injury.
A number of other players though require further assessment this week before a final call will be made on their involvement in the game on Friday.
Seán Cronin picked up a back injury and was removed from the matchday squad to face Ulster Rugby a few weeks ago but he took a limited part in training last week and will again look to increase his involvement this week.
Vakh Abdaladze will also again look to increase his involvement in team training this week as he continues to recover from a long-standing back injury.
From the game at the weekend against Zebre, Luke McGrath was withdrawn for a Head Injury Assessment and will follow the Graduated Return to Play Protocols as a result.
Unfortunately, both Cian Kelleher and Jimmy O’Brien will definitely be unavailable this week as both picked up minor hamstring injuries on Friday evening.
Cullen also confirmed that David Hawkshaw picked up an ankle injury in the win against Glasgow Warriors and had a procedure last week. He will be unavailable for a number of weeks as a result.
No New Injury Update – Unavailable for Selection:
Tommy O’Brien (ankle), Adam Byrne (quad), Caelan Doris (concussive symptoms), Dan Leavy (knee), Conor O’Brien (knee) and Max Deegan (knee)

Yikes, Kelleher and JOB injuries could be troublesome for the final. At least one of them would likely be starting.

Just send out the U-12 B team please ....
Re: Ospreys at the RDS, Friday 19th of March, 8.15pm
You boys are in for a real pasting this Friday, we have been playing possum for a full 5 seasons or so
Now we are going to spring the trap and give you a record beating home defeat
In all honesty I would expect a beating of around the 50 to 70 point mark
We are literally down to the bare bones, we may have watkin released from wales but we will be without the rest plus the likes of Rhodri jones, sam parry, scott otten Bradley Davies, Lydiate injured from our pack and Webb Myler Scott Williams luke morgan and protheroe from our back line.
We had a real go last week but came up short and looks like that will cost us a top 3 finish, going to be a tough watch for ospreys fans on Friday night ;(

Re: Ospreys at the RDS, Friday 19th of March, 8.15pm
yes but your reserve's are about 50 points better than ours, leinster academy vs ospreys first team in Dublin would be a good game!
our team will likely be
d evans cross,watkin,k Williams,giles l price , r morgan Williams
henry Phillips fia Ashley davies griffiths cracknell g evans

Wow! Is that the number? Not sure any club in the world could sustain that.mildlyinterested wrote: ↑March 16th, 2021, 3:18 pmJB1973 wrote: ↑March 16th, 2021, 3:16 pm You boys are in for a real pasting this Friday, we have been playing possum for a full 5 seasons or so

doubtful be my guess.
Re: Ospreys at the RDS, Friday 19th of March, 8.15pm
Massive test of the squad to get a 23 together for this one. Also need to be conscious of a final next week and a six day turnaround before a European quarterfinal. In particular, our backline resources are running thin. Interesting selections ahead
Re: Ospreys at the RDS, Friday 19th of March, 8.15pm
We may not have much of a choice here with the number of players unavailable, but I would be looking to protect anyone who is likely to be involved in the final or the quarter final in the coming weeks and not pick them or bench them.
Feels bad that we’ve prioritised this rainbow cup (which still seems questionable if it’s even going ahead) over a sensible end to the league, but I hope we don’t end up shitting the bed for both games trying to balance player minutes.
