Scrum was apparently dominant.

Anyone know what the thinking is behind signing Parjer on a three month loan.

Furlong and Porter will be with Ireland. Val is injured. Bent starts, Clarkson is on the bench.

An injury to any 1 of 2 players means we can't field a team. We have to have more depth.

Anybody have any info on how Perer Dooley & Rhys Ruddock played. Two faces we've missed seeing in the past month who should be part of the next 3-5 years of Leinster rugby at the sharp end.

Munster's backline for their recent A games against Connacht:
9. Conor Murray
10. Tony Ward
11. Chester Williams
12. Trevor Halstead
13. Brian O'Driscoll
14. Keith Earls
15. Santa Claus

Johann Van Graan has vowed to give young players a chance "when they are ready" but felt that these games were "must win" and so he had to put out a mix of experience, imports, lijinds and Leinster cast-offs.

Leinster Rugby ‘A’ will face Connacht Eagles in an interprovincial friendly behind closed doors at Energia Park on Saturday, 12 December (KO 2pm).

The following Friday, 18 December, they will face Munster ‘A’ at Thomond Park (KO 5.30pm), also behind closed doors.

Given injury situation, this should be pretty interesting in a few positions.

Presume the sub academy players involved in the 7s will feature, plus possibly a few others

Yeah you'd assume it will be a pretty young team.

Really struggling to think of a team they'd put out. We are playing again Montpellier in France on the day that the Connacht 'A' fixture is taking place, so it will be a real skeleton crew.

Forwards [1-8]: Hanan, D. Sheehan, Clarkson, C. Ryan, Dunne, Soroka, Penny, S. O'Brien
Backs [9-15]: H. O'Sullivan, Hawkshaw, Smith, C. O'Brien, Turner, A. O'Sullivan, Silvester

Subs [16-23]: McKee, J. Boyle, [TH?], J. McCarthy, M. Moloney, Foley, [OH?], Osbourne

TH could be Bobby Sheehan? Or maybe Ben Griffin?
OH maybe Tim Corkery or Charlie Tector.

McKee/Moloney are injured at the moment afaik, may be back for this game though..

I hope that Leocaster doesn't take too many to France to cover every eventuality. A win for the "A" team would be of excellent benefit to the entire Squad.

It will likely be a largely academy/sub academy connacht side so the same for leinster should be enough.
