I'd suggest they should add the Newbridge backrow, Kelly, to that list. In the (?) Semi-final v Rock, he was the best backrow on show for first 50 mins.

Is Mark Morrissey injured at the moment or is he just not part of the set-up? Thought he would have appeared from some of the under-age sides if fit.

Unclear there were rumours he failed to get an academy offer and had left the setup..

He’s dropped from the system completely and is staying in Dublin playing rugby with UCD. Very unusual for someone to start 2 years of Irish u20s to not get an academy offer

Charlie Tector went off in a stretcher. The game was paused for a while he was on the ground for about 20 minutes

Sorry to hear that. I understand why. He's missing that vital inch and little bit of physicality for a second row but he could transition to a 6 handily enough for the pro game. Hope he gets picked up elsewhere.

Yes

Not a bad decision centre is one of the areas Connacht are lacking, could be a chance to break through early

Was 7-5 at half time to Leinster A, then Leinster won the game like 63-5. University side were good initially until they ran out of fitness , Leinster were just by far the fitter team. Sam Predgergast and Dylan O’Grady scored 2 tries each. Chris Cosgrave and Rob Russell got over once or twice aswell.

Surprising about Morrissey, if he got up to 103 or 105kg (u-20 weight is 98kg), he could be a handy, athletic, line-out jumping 6.

Good signing for Connacht. Michel looked good for the U20s.

3 tough tests for the U20s. Hopefully they'll continue on where they left off.
