When the Centre of Excellence in Donnybrook opened in 2019, it was said that four further facilities were planned for the Midlands, North-Midlands, South-East and the North-East. Does anyone have any news of developments on this front?
Covid likely to have stopped these for a while. Likely to be few years down the line before anything happens with them

I'd guess Carlow and Dundalk will be next but have been stopped dead in the tracks by Covid. Money was coming from Leinster and the associated centre of education. Both have been financially hit by impact of Covid. Would be surprised if both are not in operation by 2022.

Carlow would likely be in conjunction with the IT and their new sports campus. I certainly heard it being mentioned and suggestions they're were being held up by politics and issues around locating sites.

Are Cosgrave & Osborne the main Leinster absentees? Anyone else missing?

Rumour that there won't be any academy intakes this year due to lack of rugby so some players will remain in sub-academy

Makes a little sense but also could explain the Karl Martin situation.

Pictures here but no scores or details.

On Sportsfile, there's a photo of Donal Conroy scoring Leinster A's second try. That's the only evidence of anything other than a lot of tackling.

Its almost as if one of the teams is about to take part in a major international tournament and doesn't want to expose themselves to analysis - selfish b$&%@#ds that they are.

I hate that people think this is a reason Leinster don't provide streams for anything.

It doesn't matter what people think, I know its the reason - as in a Leinster head coach telling me that I can't have footage of certain games for a Leinster Rugby production that wasn't going to be released for another six months by which time he wouldn't even be the head coach, for that exact reason. It's very f%~king hard to make a DVD about a treble when you have f%~k all footage of one third of the competitions let me tell you

I think the cats out of the bag, everyone knows Leinster has a good squad and academy. Time to step into 2010 and start providing streams like almost every other team on the planet.
